- Under the theme "Where Telecom Begins, Web3 Begins," the company shows where telecom and digital finance meet

- Linking rewards and digital assets to everyday telecom lowers the barrier to entering Web3

Stage Five (CEO Sangwon Seo) announced on the 30th that it gave a keynote at The Bridge Summit 2026 on the 28th, where it presented how Web3 and telecom services can be combined.

The Bridge Summit 2026 is a Web3 conference co-hosted by TV Chosun and Bridge34, an accelerator specializing in Web3, with global Web3 venture capital firm Hack VC as the main partner. The event brought together global Web3 projects, institutions, investors, media and the Korean community to share trends in digital assets, AI and tokenized finance.

Stage Five shared the keynote stage with Youngjun Yu, Director General of the Digital Finance Policy Bureau at the Financial Services Commission, and Taeseok Kim, Head of the Virtual Asset Inspection Team at the Financial Supervisory Service. Under the theme "Where Telecom Begins, Web3 Begins," Stage Five highlighted where telecom and digital finance meet. It stressed that linking rewards and digital assets to telecom, an essential piece of infrastructure, lets users experience Web3 without any extra barriers to entry.

Stage Five also introduced STAGE-ON, its AI telecom platform, as the foundation for this vision. Stage Five developed STAGE-ON in-house, based on its experience running its MVNO brand, pindirect. The platform manages every step of a telecom business in one place, including sign-up and activation, line management, billing and settlement, and customer service. This lets companies across many industries design and run their own telecom services. As more companies in blockchain, finance, retail, gaming and mobility adopt STAGE-ON, its position as a B2B SaaS platform keeps growing.

As an example of combining STAGE-ON with Web3, Stage Five presented MILES CLUB, the branded telecom service of The Miles, a joint venture founded by Stage Five and Keyinside. Its flagship product, the MiL.k-exclusive 5G plan, is linked to MiL.k, a blockchain-based integrated points platform. Users receive their unused mobile data as MiL.k Coin rewards, which they can then use in Web3 services. By naturally turning everyday telecom use into a digital asset experience, the service is laying the groundwork for anyone to start using Web3 and digital finance.

Stage Five also shared its plans to add more Web3 elements to telecom, such as real-world assets (RWA) and stablecoins. The company plans to link rewards earned through telecom use to digital asset wallets and payments, and to support stablecoin-based payments and settlement. This will widen the ways digital assets can be used across its services.

Sangwon Seo, CEO of Stage Five, commented, "Because telecom is infrastructure that everyone uses every day, it can be the most effective link for lowering the barrier to Web3. We will continue to offer telecom services with differentiated benefits and convenience so that users can experience Web3 naturally in their daily lives."
